Work around on mobile photo's slotting

This is not a perfect solution but it will work.

• Update template with a new menu and place it to the top of the menu list
• Set up to two sub-sections within this menu, named "Inside Pics" and "Outside Pics"

• Set up each sub-section with one damage panel only.
• Go to Report settings / Section Colour and Print Order and uncheck the Inside and Outside Pics boxes so they won't show up in the report

• Now when we want to take a quick picture using the mobile app, the Pics tabs are at the top of the screen for ease of use
• When the report is uploaded to the cloud, these picture can be used / ignored or allocated to any other section in the report if required

Not a perfect solution, but something that will work until Dom and his team find a better way of taking photos for future slotting.

I have done it your suggested way and slotting is still needed so it is redundant to save them in low resolution kb files if still needing to edit them anyway.
The only benefit would be captions in real time.
I use captions mainly for location and actually desktop is fast for for that.
No way to use captions as red or blue so the only other thing they are good for is light material comments.
Personally right now I am working on placing all material comments into one page at top of system sections.

I wasn't thinking of using captions along with these pictures as there would be so many caption choices to list which would make them impossible to find.

However, your idea of using a different set of location based captions for Inside and Outside photos should work for most pictures.

Explained elsewhere that I have separate tabs for each appliance as example but may start consolidating all into one materials tab for instance. May drop mobile photo wishlist for now as technology may not quite be there to help my way of documentation.
The Smart camera adds to the time as well with its focus speed.
