{{I tried drawing out what you were talking about last night. We'd be able to fit one photo of a decent size, plus the two drop downs required on a screen at once. Are you looking to go through ALL pictures at one time, or just to slot them as you take them? I understand that you just want to sit in the Misc section and not actually navigate through the program.]]

If that would make slotting faster it is a big loud yes.

Obviously having the 2 slot would be faster with no back to start and scroll click back to the new category.

Try and think like me using that Samsung camera (you said you had one ?)
Picture (yuck yuck) me using my photos uploaded from the cloud off mobile with captions and already slotted.

Got that part ?

Now once loaded I simply click generate PDF and write the report straight off my pictures already in place and perfect report order.
Gosh that is nice because with my split screen I simply scroll and type or click dropdowns.
Presto and done.

About 50% of my time doing a home report involves photo edit so do I want to see Mobile HIP work for me ?
YES

Why does it take sooo long ?
Because they are my notes and instead of being on site writing notes or typing into mobile it is click and done.
Much Faster for me and more accurate.

I can zoom in and make sure that smudge mark was not making the letter C  (a ) 0.

My reports are detailed because I look at the photos from a second perspective rather than rushed on site.
Could give example after example but not looking to debate a dead fish.

I see it differently to Bob.
  • Use mobile HIP as it is currently programmed
  • Have an extra feature that any pictures that are placed in Misl (for whatever reason) can be slotted into the relevant section at a later stage

Thats why yours is a different section....oppps.

Been doing photo notes and photo reports for a long time now with HIP.

You have issue with my suggestions ?
Please explain how faster photo insertion would harm you ?

I think you guys are both looking for the same thing, just for different reasons. Both sound reasonable though.

Yes, it would appear that Bob and I would like to have the added feature of being able to use mobile HIP for taking photos and slotting them at a later stage, alas for somewhat different reasons.

Since the inception of HIP mobile, excellent progress has been made for its flexibility and options for text input. Hopefully, the same statement can be equally made in relation to photo flexibility in the near future.

From my point of view, implementing a delayed slotting feature for photos in mobile HIP will open up numerous options and photo flexibility, that all inspectors will appreciate when they see the benefits of this feature.

When IBM first produced a computer they anticipated a limited demand for it and we all know what happened next. Hopefully the same demand will manifest itself outside the current interest of both Bob and I.
