I am considering buying a surface pro, using HIP,and doing most if not all of the report onsite. I don't see much about the surface pro here, maybe I missed something. Is the surface pro a bad choice?

Dan that would not be able to run HIP mobile.
HIP Mobile runs on Apple and Android systems. You are looking to run the regular desktop program and this is about mobile software. |

Bob, is there a reason why I cann't use the desktop program and do most of the report onsite?

Not at all if you use a separate camera.
You will need to load and slot the pictures as a separate operation however. A tablet software allows you to take pictures through the software and also has certain features which are faster such as search search as you type . HIP is a desktop software and mobile allows guys to use their phones for instance. |
