Hi Devin,
You can duplicate sections on the fly by long holding your finger on them. You can't delete but sections with no comments won't show on the report anyways so there's really no reason to delete it. |

Just make two templates. One with a pool, one without. Just choose the one you want at the inspection.
I do that for normal homes and then a separate one for homes with a series of detached structures. Garage, Garage with shop, Garage with living space, barn, Shop. |

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

Why bother with the extra template though Steve if it's going to be dropped from the final report automatically anyways?

Because I want every item grayed out on my phone when I leave the inspection. This helps me make sure that everything has been completed properly.

I am with you on that one.wanted to give one of my multi-unit inspections away to a guy who uses the now defunct Inspector view and he said his template does not allow more than 4 units ....huh? HIP ability to have extra sections that simply do not show up unless commented on is the reason only one template is needed by me for everything from a tiny condo to a large apartment complex. Never understood all these guys looking to copy someones template for every micro situation. Seems confusing. |
