Yes but the bigger issue was for so long Californians were selling there homes for millions and buying nice homes in the rest of the country for cash, and or buying rental property with that money. Now there homes are upside down or they can't sell them. Now they can't get that money to buy in our little area's.

I was no different, I sold my home in Northern California (Susanville) 4 years ago and bought twice the home for the same money here. If I were smart I would have bought the same size house as I had there and paid cash. I was back there last month and my old house was for sale for $80k less than I sold it for.

I bought a condo in Laguna Niguel by the golf course in 2005 for $438K.  That same condo is now selling for $240K.  Keep in mind, as the U.S. Economy becomes more and more socialized by the government, the chances of property ever reaching those historic highs is doubtfull if not impossible.

Will, your right there but I have no intentions on selling I will just pass them on to my kids or grand kids..

Are your properties in Hemet or other areas?

Some in Hemet some in MoVal.
