If you report by system, yes you'll be jumping but still can be fast. Look at the HP Slate 2, Microsoft Surface Pro and an iPad/Android tablet too.

No matter the tablet/laptop/pad I choose, does the OS have to match my MAC or can I use a windows system? How does HIP operate on both so that they have the same comments in both my MAC? I want to be able to do the report as I go, give the client a prelim report, then DL it to my MAC and finish it at my office. How would that work? Is a used system a good choice? What specs do I need?

You can use whatever you want, Windows or Mac or Android or iPhone/iPad (assuming you bought HIP Mobile). You can just transfer the hzf file via email, flash drive, dropbox , whatever.

OK that answers most of my questions. How do you keep the comments and templates updated between the two so that they are both the same? Is there a sync function?

Dropbox is the best way to do that so you can just save the template to the Dropbox feature.

How do comments get saved in both? If I add a comment in the field, how will it get on my program on my MAC? Do I just keep up moving the template back and forth? I have only used the dropbox once, so I am not that familiar with it.

So how much ram and disk space do I need? I just want to use HIP on it, but you never know I may want to do more with the tablet or whatever they are called.

Can you explain why I need HIP mobile? I thought I just put my HIP on the tablet?

Why do I need the cloud service? What does that do for me?
