Sounds good, it's a good backup device. The Q is great too once you get the keyboard situation down.

I was looking forward to the 10 " tablet but I have been having problems with the 9" one.  I have had it since April and have only been able to complete about 6 or 7 inspections on it.  About half way through the inspection, the screen loses calibration and gets so bad that I can't continue.  I have to pull out the old fashioned paper to complete the inspection.  I have gone round and round with tech support and even sent it back to them to check out.  Same problem.

One of the techs said that it worked better with win 7 so I bought a copy and installed it.  Same problem.  I have reinstalled both win 7 and XP so many times I can do it in my sleep but the problem remains.  The last 2 emails I sent to tech support went unanswered.

I finally got so frustrated I bought an HP TM2t.  It is working great but I would still like to get the 2Go to work right.

Hmm, that's strange. I haven't heard that before. Is the problem that it's rotating on it's own or that you can't click in the right spots any more? I'm sure Matt will get on here and comment as well.

Robert,

Send me the serial number of the unit and your return address to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I will have our RMA guy process the unit for a replacement for you on Monday when we are back in the office.  For your troubles, I will have them send you a free 2go laptop backpack.  It is not much, but it is a $50 product and the least I can do for your issues.

I have seen this issue before a couple times, and it is a defective panel.  Sometimes they work ok for a bit, but eventually it will act up again.  Seems to have something to do with how the panel communicates to the software.

If anyone else runs into this issue on the original convertible classmate and contacts tech support about it, please let them know to process it for replacement per my instructions and direct them to me if they have any questions.

Matt,

Thank you for getting back.  I have been at wits end over this.  I love the computer.  It is the right size and weight, easy to handle and does a great job when I can get it to work.  It is just that after a little while, I try to write on the screen and the writing is not where the stylus is.  Even stopping and recalibrating only helps for a while and sometimes it will not even let me recalibrate.

I mentioned several times that I thought the problem was with the screen but they kept saying it was a corrupted driver or something else.  I downloaded and reinstalled the drivers so many times, I knew it couldn't be that.

I just wish I could have resolved this before buying a new computer.
