We can meet anytime schedules permit. You would make Template changes on the Master Template on your Mac. You don't generally want to save the individual field inspection Comment changes to your Master Template once you have your Comments pretty well dialed in. I keep a small notebook in my vest pocket and if there is an edit or change to the Master Template that comes up repeatedly and I want to make a change to the Master Template I jot it down and make changes to the Master when I have completed the Inspection. E mail or call when you want to get together.

Remember when you change comments on the left side of the red/black sections the narratives will save to the template. If you save them to the right side they only save with the inspection. So you should be saving template on every job.

Mike...Ebay has some great deal. Most major retailers give you 2 weeks to return a computer.  I write notes in "Journal Notes" directly on my display.

I have 2 sons...they keep me up to speed on what I "should" be doing.

I've started adding a blank Notes field on the left for most narratives. When I see it in Red on the right side it reminds me to that a comment is to be typed in.

Dom-How do you save to the right side? Do you mean if you send it to the right (red or black) then edit it on the right?

Dan- what journal notes? I don't have a journal notes section, or is this something you created in the report?

What do you think about using the Samsung Note for reporting? I am in the process of getting a new phone and leaning towards one of the Samsung models. I imagine I have to buy the HIP mobile?

If I was using HIP on the Samsung Note and I got a phone call would I lose the report? Would the phone not ring or would I not get texts?

Sorry that I am so green, but there are so many options I can't keep it all straight. Is there a robot I can use that will do the report for me? That would be great.
