TOPIC: NiFast Template

Scot, I just checked my Data Files and NiFast is listed and listed also under open template and it opened just fine. Must be something else causing it.

Make sure when you download it that the file type is listed as All Files and that it's names properly with the .tpz at the end.

You can also right click on your file in the data folder and click properties and see if it lists something about the file coming from another computer and a box to uncheck so you can open it.

I don't recall the desktop icon having a security shield like a windows type of such. In properties, it does indicate the file coming from another computer and I checked the box to allow it. It clears but re appears the next time I open it. So, I delete the template. I click on the .tpz template, pick save and the "save as" box opens. first dropdown bar chooses list of items, I choose program files\HIP\data\nifast.tpz. Bottom dropdown box has choice of tpz files or all files. I choose all files. it saves in data files but with the padlock every time. Also, even after I delete it and try again ,I'm asked if I want to overwrite it as if hasn't been deleted. DO I have to uninstall and reinstall HIP? If so where should I save the license to and all that?

Not sure there should be a security shield on the desktop icon.

This has nothing to do with HIP so reinstalling won't do anything. This has to do with the padlock. Your computers security is not allowing access to the file because it's coming from another machine. Once you clear that setting and save it should stick. If you can't get it, jump on our site and click on Live Support and we'll do a remote session.
