My wife has been wanting to look at some houses in a desirable neighborhood in the same city of residence we live now.

So I said sure lets go. She made arrangements to see a home that is in short sale with a local agent.

The house had numerous issues with drainage/siding/electrical/Old boiler heat.

So I made 4 contacts. Two were with the 2 agents from the firm that was listing the house. The other was from another agent showing to her clients and the 4th was from the agents prospective buyer. I know I will get at least 1 job from my 30 minutes of house looking.

So if I am slow I will just have my wife make arrangements for us to look at a prospective house so I can make some contacts.

It helps to have my 8 year old around. He would be good on inspections as I am training him early. Now he does not need to crawl under decks/crawlspaces/attics.

He helps me with radon set ups/pick ups. (Only costs a piece of gum/candy/ice cream.
