Another idea is to include this form I found that you can hand out to clients for septic system record keeping. Helpful to anyone with a septic system!

Yellow book called me on Friday 5/8 wanting to get together with me, probably to try to talk me into spending money for a display ad. I think just placing your number will be good enough.

I have never gotten a call from anyone looking for a home inspector in the yellow pages.  A few years ago I did an inspection for a local guy who started the Spanish-speaking yellow pages in this area.  He gave me two 1/4 page ads - one in the real estate section and one in the home inspection section - for free to see what would happen.  Not a single call.  And I was the only home inspector in the book, in either section. 

Does anyone sell the rights to their reports?

Example:
Say you know a realitor is having an openhouse, you might be able to talk them into buying the rights for a basic home inspection and the right to hand the report out to whom ever for say $1,000.00.

Thanks, I just made my mind up about the Yellow pages.

So far the only real advertising I've been able to do has been witht the local Merchandiser, 34,000 homes once a week, I have had some sucess with that.
