TOPIC: Last One To Post Wins!!

After being way down for the year in rain, within the last few weeks we've made up most of that drought.  More rain forecast for tomorrow...farmers hate it, so do window installers! 

Ok, I'm just teed off right now, and it's not because the Twins lost.  Just looked at a realtor I know who bragged online about how they got their client to waive the home inspection.  I know I'm not the first (or the last) to have something like this happen, but I'm so mad I could spit tacks.  How can a supposedly good realtor talk their client into waiving something like this...other than "things are slow, I do what I have to do, blah, blah, blah"...I'm so sick of hearing that.  I'm likely going to cut any ties there, because I have invested plenty of time marketing to this particular person, who has seemed very receptive.  GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! 

Wow...what a sporting weekend in MN!  Yeah, Badgers kicked the $%#@ out of the Gophers, but the Twins and Vikes made it great!  Twins, Central Champs again!  Bring on those damn, pretty boy Yankees!  ;D

Casey, it happens and is what it is, just think of the disservice that agent is doing to his or her clients and if something does turn up to be a issue on the property the agent has no one to blame but there self. A similar thing happened to me I was marketing a local real estate office and was not getting any work just a occasional one here and there. Well I had a inspection a REO property and one of the agents showed up from that office and told me things must be slow for you HI's , I said not bad but could be better. Well she told me her broker told all the agents not get home inspections on REO listings since they are AS IS Property well that is 85% of what is in my area. I told her do you feel bad about the disservice you are giving your clients? She come's back well they get a home Warranty! I told her well with out a inspection and a main system component goes out and your client calls the Warranty company they will take the service call fee and tell your client this has been broken for years, but with a inspection it gives you some ammo that the component in question worked prior to the purchase. Some of these young first time buyers are getting screwed by agents like that. That is where we come in to educate john q. Public on how important a Home Inspection is...

Sure can't rely on them for me here, big waste of time.
They don't want me as an inspector on one of their sales.

Small town, and they all know my background. So the hell with them.
