Thanks to you my computers run nice now, I deleted the McAfee anti-everything and bought the AVG 8.5, wow...what a difference, the computers run fast, even when AVG is doing a complete system scan I cannot even notice any difference in operating speed or tasks...really great software.

It's also incredible the amount of spyware it isolates-deletes, just browsing normal sites it's incredible the amount of spyware that is out there in computer-land.

No problem, glad to help. Were you able to use one purchased copy of AVG on multiple machines, or did you end up having to buy a few copies?

No I had to buy multiple's (versions) for my various machines (five computers), it says on the CD they send in the mail as backup that the version is for ONE MACHINE ONLY...like McAfee and others I believe...but to have a good anti virus, spyware-adware isolator-deleter, and it's tax deductible of course, well it's fine with me...but what a difference...incredible...

For the 50 or 60 bucks each, I went with the Paid Versions, I don't know the difference, but it seems to me when you pay for something a few people put a LOT of work into, you generally get a program which is better than free---but I could be wrong---but I don't like taking chances, unless I'm at the Casino of course-

The paid version adds a few cool features and better integration.
