TOPIC: How to speed up your computer, for free

Re: How to speed up your computer, for free 15 years 7 months ago #11084

Click, Help->About and let me know what version. I'll have to look it up as I haven't used outlook, especially on a Win 2000 machine in AWHILE!

Dom I followed your advice above to shut down programs. when I shut it down something weird happened a blue screen popped for one second and on it it had a file folder. above it there was a square smiley face crying and and just below it a message that said either dang or darn something has gone wrong.Never seen this before.

Any Idea???

Did it say 'Snap, something has gone wrong!'

Sounds like you're running Google Chrome, that's what it says when it crashes.

Yep that's what it said! And chrome was open when I shut the laptop down.

I thought I had some killer virus or spybot on my computer that my anti-virus programs weren't catching. Thanks Dom.
