Ballpark $.20-.22/sq ft (But most us charge by "house"/ BR, accessories {i.e. Fp, Skys, baths, jacuzzi's, kitchens, age (over 50 yrs old etc.) price goes up...} $425 base for Cape
Crawlspace, Attic included with base price...
Pool @ same time +/- $100.
Radon (we don't have many requests) +/- $90-$100
Termites some guys include in price... (I personally feel client is better off with independent!)
I use driving time for pricing [sometimes 1 hour to go 10 miles is expected...] Normally 1/2 hour same price so approx. 30 miles base price... [This is the interesting part if we're slow... the distance allowed increases and the reverse... Problem is going over bridges cost $$$, NYC need parking fees sooooo] Sorry for the verbosity! Hope this helpful! With this economy some guys are really cutting prices... SAD STUFF!!!

2. Looking at the AVERAGE price per inspector in your area, what is their price per square foot:  I'd have to say 18 - 25 cents per sq ft.
3. How much extra for a crawlspace: No extra charge
4. How much extra for a pool: Not typically part of IL inspection-
5. How much extra for a radon inspection: Radon must be performed by licensed individual in IL- Typical cost is $175- $200 for a measurement with continuous monitors- sub it to me

6. How much extra for a termite inspection: not quite termite inspection, but will note in report if conditions or evidence exists- would sub to a licensed pest control licensee.
7. How far are you willing to drive before charging extra: 35 miles
8. How much would you charge to drive outside that range: an extra fee of 15-30 dollars

4. How much extra for a pool: I do not inspect pools
5. How much extra for a radon inspection: not necessary in swampy Louisiana areas
6. How much extra for a termite inspection: I don't do them, but $65 in this area
7. How far are you willing to drive before charging extra: 50 miles
8. How much would you charge to drive outside that range: $1/mile
