In ISN you can change the amount of time the foot prints stay active.
Go to: Settings/office settings/working with other application/ISN remote manager I have been having the same problems downloading the data. I can see the upcoming reports when I go to inspections/my footprints. The field that says "footprints exist" is checked yes but HIP can not find them. |

Yep, that was the issue for me as well. Apparently the default setting for the footprints on the ISN is only 24 hours and then they disappear. So if you're just starting to use the ISN and you are bringing data into HIP, that's definitely one of the changes you want to make in the ISN settings.

Dom, As of this morning I still can't sink with ISN. I have down loaded and installed HIP 4.06 for mac and verified that I am running it. I entered two new orders in ISN this morning and verified that foot prints were created. Also, I re-enterd my ISN username, password and company ID. When I select import data for ISN there are no inspections to choose from.
I read in another post that 4.0 would fix this without me having to have ISN create a proxy. I will try to call ISN today but I am afraid they will say it is a HIP problem. What is my next step. Ok, here is an update. I called ISN and their help desk said is was HIP's problem because I am using a mac. They also said they believe you have or are working on a update. I thought 4.0 was the update that would fix this problem. |

Correct, it will not work on Mac until we have the new update which I'm trying to finish. ISN upgrading the security on all their servers this week and the version of Java we were using on Mac could not handle it. That's what I'm trying to finish up now!
HIP 4.0 fixed the issue with ISN moving everything to NEW servers. Unfortunately this is now a different issues as ISN had to upgrade all their security due to a big vulnerability on the net right now. |
