TOPIC: HIP mobile vs tablet

Went back to Best Buy and like the feel of it but going to stick with the Note 8 as all the extra features Samsung has thrown in make it fantastic to play with.
I would miss the split screen most but am just getting used to the stylus.
There are enough Samsung services that it seems like they are the ones to beat.

Dom says we can use use a "Windows, Android or iPad tablet". If you use an Android then you have to buy the HIP mobile for it, correct? If I use iPad or Windows I do not have to buy another program? I can use the program I already bought? I have the MAC version, if I get a Windows tablet will I have to buy the Windows version of HIP? YES, I am being cheap, or as I prefer, frugal!!

If you are going to use Android or Ipad...you need to purchase the mobile app.
With a full blown Windows Tablet (XP, Win 7 or Win8), you would use the Full ver of HIP you already own(not Windows RT).

The one I own is for MAC. Does the MAC version work on Windows too?

Miike you can use any of the mobile app versions or even any of the desktop versions (i phone-Mac)(Android-Windows) and use the new blend feature on the desktop software to combine reports.

Start an inspection on i phone and finish on windows,etc.

This was done in response to multi inspector groups wishing to merge into one report from various devices.
Assuming Mac is the same as the windows desktop software you would go to and then open the merge feature. Just play around as it is easy to figure out.[file] and then open the merge feature.
