Wow...those are great pictures Marcel.  Awesome...my commercial experience is only in helping my dad and uncle gut and redo mall stores...white boxes aren't anything exciting like what you guys have done!  Very cool!  

Casey, it's all good damn I miss it if it was not for my health I would like to go back..

Here is the updatefrom last time.

Steam pit #1 is now poured. I added Bituthane at the footing and wall juncture for added waterproofing.



Forming and rebar for the bigger pit.


Poured last week.


Now time for rebar in walls and get the forms down there manually, that was a 3 hour workout for the two of us.



Completed the forms Friday and pour tomorrow.


Just in time, here comes the pipe.


Laid off again Friday and bank the hours for this week for when I need it. Pour, strip, clean and wait for the backfill and then the structural caps. A week or so. So next week is looking for work again.  ;D

Well, all done today, until the back fill and the mechanical contractor does his thing with the steam lines, then I go back to pour a structural concrete cap on the vault.
This one, they decided to make waterproof structure at the last minute, so the first thing is a primer. We used the Grace 4000 system and substitute the primer for uncured concrete.




Now goes the Bituthane self adhered product. Cadilac of the water proof systems. Very expensive.






A protector board is required with this system, so we used a styrofoam 1" thick and adhered it to the system using a PL 300 adhesive. Now they can backfill with the sand and not damage the system.
