a couple of big Union companies went broke there or got bought out Guy F. Atkinson,zachry construction they got bought out by Washington group they where on one side of the dam and the other side was Peter kiewit construction  & Granite construction. we had over 600 working per shift 2 10 hr + shifts 4hr stand down or ot..... ;D

Key word, (Bonding Capacity) = previous proof to the Insurance Companies you can fullfill the obligations of the Project and make a profit.
You need good people working for you to accomplish that. But when the work slows down due to the economy, you are just another employee usually higher paid and first one to go.  :)  I just found out the hard way last year.
So my dedication for two generations ain't worth a pot to piss in.

Ahh! Hydro Dam, now that is a big job. I like to stay in the Commercial Building, that is big enough for me and plus, getting to be scared of heights.  ;) :)

our I. O. tower was 15 floors high my buddy Hector was working on the 10 floor, he heard 4 guys screaming the rolling scaffold got to close to the edge they where spraying monokote and there they went right by him poor guys... :'(
