TOPIC: Change images?

I am turn between themes 1, 12, or 23. But I want to know if the header main images are changeable? I have some of my own images I would like to use, and do have a little bit of a background with PhotoShop CS, Gimp, and Inkscape. I plan on eventually customizing my own header image for my site, but I want to know if the theme's I like are flexible enough to do it.

Does anyone know if you can change the images on these themes, and if so, how do you do it?

At least I have the crickets to keep me company.

Yes, the header images can be changed. You will need a program like GIMP and others that you mentioned. Be sure that you stay within the header parameters and size.

What I don't understand is how to change swap the standard image with one I created within the same parameters. Is this option under block settings header image? Or is this a feature only certain theme's have? That's the impression I'm getting and perhaps why I cannot figure out how to change the images to a custom one.

Pretty much all the themes all the header or footer or even the background to be changed. Click on Themes, then click Configure next to the theme. You'll see the option towards the bottom where it lists the exact dimensions the image needs to be. You just upload your new jpg.

I see Logo Image settings and shortcut icon settings, but nothing about the header image or it's dimensions. Theme 23, in case that matters.
