Is it possible to change how the comments in the final report appear re: the normal vs serious comments? As it is now, the normal comments (black) appear first under each section, followed by the serious (red) comments. I would prefer to have the serious comments shown first, given that they are serious, don't you think they deserve top billing?

It's not currently possible. To be honest in 10 years I don't think I've ever had anyone ask for that. It's open to discussion here if anyone else thinks it should be that way, please speak up and explain why!

The different color makes them standout. First, second or third I don't think would make much of a difference..

I think about that from time to time, Paul. However, because most inspectors include pictures of the Summary Page comments, the serious damage comment is directly above the picture with the current software configuration. That flows easily for the client, in my opinion.

It makes sense either way. Having them at the end of your comment list puts them right next to your photos. So you can have the most important photos adjacent to the most important comments. Having them at the top of the list gives them, as you said, first billing.
Actually, it is conceivable that you could accomplish this by one of a couple methods. One way would be to have your most serious comments in a second selection panel instead of the damage panel and color them all red. This does eliminate the ability to use them in the summary though. Another method would simply be to color those comments red in the comment edit box before you insert them into the report via the black and red comment boxes. Then move them to the top of your comments. Again this doesn't allow for insertion into the summary without duplicating those comments. But heck, summaries are overrated anyway. Make them read the whole report. |

I have my templates comments set up in such a way as backwards would not work well.
