TOPIC: Multi Unit Inspection

I have a question about multi unit inspections. I was thinking about doing a separate report for each unit. I would do one for the exterior areas and #1 unit, then do an interior report for each additional unit. The reason I think this would be a good idea is it would be easier for the client to go through the items that need repair for each unit. The only problem I see is I would have to send each one as a separate report. Does anyone have any comments about this why it would be good or bad or a way of combining all reports into one.

How many units is the place? There are quite a few methods, from using a commercial template or residential and just marking the conditions (i.e. Leak found under sink in unit 1,3,53) or there's only a few units you can duplicate the pages (i.e. Kitchen Unit 1, Kitchen Unit 2) to keep things separate.

I am thinking of four units. I realize I can use the home template, I just thought it might be easier to read and use if they were separate. I do not know how to duplicate pages within one report that would be great. Would I have to create them are is there a way to duplicate.

Click Edit Template, select and page , click copy.

No problem. You might want to watch the animated tutorials on editing the template . That's one of the strongest features in HIP.
