Hi guys I've been using this template for many years, I tried to reduce the detail a couple of times, but found myself back to the heavy detail. Some realtors love it, some hate it as they have to work harder to make the sale. Anyway if you find it useful, that would be great. There are many mistakes, as I have been to busy to correct them all, and never maintain a punch list on some of the details. I really love this program after learning the workings. Cheers

Dom,
I am new to this forum and your software, I am a new inspector here in South Florida and in looking at this template section I have noticed that the majority of these templates are 3-4yrs old. Just my opinion but it would be nice to see a date next to the templates, as I would think that over the course of 3-4yrs some of these templates have been modified quite a bit. Also it would be nice to have them sorted by State maybe, so that us Florida Inspectors for example can trade/browse other inspectors templates that are willing to share. Again just my 2 cents. |

Jared,
Many guys develop their own templates, and use what Dominic has as a guide. Personally...my template has been developed over years,... way before I was ever using HIP. It's great to look at other people's work...but IMHO develop your own. You can start with a Default Template...but make it your's. There is no better software than HIP. Google other inspector's in your area and see what type of content they are putting in their reports |

Thanks for the info Dan. I have no problem developing my own, It would just be nice to see how others in my area do it. I understand everyone has their own way of doing their inspections and some inspectors may not want to share their templates.

Google your competition...The first I found is South Florida Home Inspection Services, using Home Gauge software. 5th Ave Building Inspections has a sample report (Maybe AHIT). WayPoint has a sample report using HIP.
