You can use the merge feature.

Would that merge everything from one to the other?
I just want to do a few sections. |

Then just make a copy of the full template and eliminate the section you wish to eliminate in the template edit function.
Look at the top tabs for template edit and simply delete from the copy and then merge. Once you merge together save result as a new template with a new name. |

SOUTH WEST FLORIDA HOME INSPECTOR
Good morning friends, I was wondering if anyone had a good template they can suggest for me. I am a new user and inspector who lives in SW Florida so we deal with lots of Pools/Spas/Water features, seawalls and boat lifts, screened in Lani, irrigation and well equipment. I also read some posts that talked about hybrid reports. Not sure what would be best for me but the last couple of inspections have been disastrous for me because I am unable to properly navigate through the software and have found lots of redundant repeats. I end of spending 4 hours on a house with the realtor looking over my shoulder and pulling out his hair. Then I get home and it takes another 4 hours to move everything around again and finalize the report. ANY help and suggestions are appreciated. |

Hi Frank,
Reports should DEFINITELY not be taking you that long! You may want to do a 1 on 1 training session with one of our guys or at least start going over the video tutorials. First, make sure that whatever template you do start with (the default would have almost everything you need), that you're constantly modifying it for your needs. You need to be clicking Save Template after each inspection so that if you add something that's not in the template you're using, like seawalls, that it will be there on the next inspection. That way the program becomes molded to you with each inspection. |
