TOPIC: Flashlight?

Re: Flashlight? 15 years 9 months ago #7704

You can get the Stinger LED for about $75 for just the flashlight.  They use the same charger as the UltraStinger that goes for about the same price for just the flashlight.  I have 2 UltraStingers and the Stinger LED.  I have about 5 chargers, 3 that I haven't even used.  I also carry an extra fully charged battery and a plug in car charger.

The secret is to shop around.  When you search google or yahoo, the best deals are always hidden deep, like page 10 or 12 sometimes. My newest UltraStinger I got for $68.00 including a house charger, car charger and free shipping.  Shop Shop Shop.

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

Specialized single piece battery.  Mine are 3-4 years old and still going strong.

Okay its a NiCd (nickel-cadmium) battery.  That's what I wanted to know.  NiCd's will develop a memory and go bad over time.  It would be a much better design if they used Li-ion (lithium ion) batteries.  Li-ion's wont develope the memory effect.

Go over to the INACHI site Nick just posted an Ultra Stinger w/ auto and home chargers for $75.00 if you are a member. He's got 600 of them available but they are starting to go fast.

Thanks for letting me know.  I'm not going to get one right now.  I've already got 3 flashlights right now.  I'll wait tell one dies on me.
