Not bad.  Been super busy with more real estate schooling.  (I love schoolin Realtors about what HI's do by the way!!!)  ;D  How bout you?

So how do most of the realtors respond to your perspective?

Good question Casey, John, any answer to that? Heading out to the woods to chase a big buck down. Hope I can spot him tonight.

Depends on the conversation and person.  Not too many respond very good on pricing.  Need to find a way to explain better.  I'm waiting for the next time someone mentions report length!  Got one in mind for that.  Mainly I'm finding they really don't have a clue what we do and how difficult it is to get our license.  And how we save their clients money by them not having to hire individual professionals for each system on a house.

They don't see a need for our services!  We as inspectors need to create need (for others to recognize) for our industry. 

Should be a requirement for any realtor to sit through a full home inspection as part of their training!  I think then they'd realize the value of what we do, and why our rates are warranted. 
I agree that many don't see a need for what we do, but also, many around here don't always feel that we're truly "professionals"...especially in MN where inspectors aren't required to be licensed.  Done a little research and Iowa doesn't require a license either but Wisconsin does.  Since I'm only about an hour from LaCrosse, I've mulled getting a WI license; no Ian, I'm not going to your area!  But I have noticed my website gets looked at by folks in western WI.
