TOPIC: Email spam issue

I keep getting a message from my ISP in my browser, FF. It tells me my comp is infected with a virus that is sending spam from my email and they are suspending my account. [glow=red,2,300]"SPAM ALERT: Your PC(s) may be infected with a computer virus that sends out large amounts of spam. As such, your outbound email service has been temporarily suspended."[/glow] When I use my email, I can receive email, but sending it causes the server to time out and won't send. I have run AVG, Spybot, Adaware, malwarebytes, combofix won't work because of AVG unless I uninstall and I am not going to do that. I found a few infections and cleaned them, but I still get the messages. Is this a legitimate message? I also found an alternative called "Remove-it" at this site www.ms-mvp.org/ . I would like an opinion of this program to make sure I am not getting some fake program.

My ISP is no help to me.

Sounds like something fake. Are you sure they're giving you the message? Where are you seeing this message? What page were you on?

I will get a screen shot when it happens. If it is fake, then why would my email not be able to send? Right now it times out.
