Thou shall not do upon others as they have done apon thee, then he said forget it, they won't listen anyway.

Hi guys!
I have received quite a number of inquiries regarding the new Convertible, and I wanted to see if I could answer a few very common questions for you. I appreciate all the interest, and I will continue to do my best to get back to everyone as quickly as possible. Here are a couple of things that I have run into: Yes, the addition of Solid State Drives (SSDs) is an option with these units. I can provided pricing and options of drive size if you are interested. The other question that I have been asked quite a bit is in regards to operating system. Windows 7 gets my vote for sure. The enhanced touch features present in Windows 7 are perfect for a touch screen computer. Windows XP has been great, but Microsoft has been going back and forth on when support is for XP is going to end, and Windows 7 just seems to be more functional on these units due to the touch features. There are quite a few feature differences in the different versions of Windows 7. I found a good comparison of the different versions here: social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-U...4d-8cc1-6f4fc21c2ac0 Hopefully this information will help you all out a bit, and I welcome any questions that you might have. Dominic should be able to talk about some first-hand experience soon |

Ken,
I apologize for that. We discovered after you left your post indicating that you unit had shipped, that two orders had become crossed in the shipping department. A box of parts for a customer's repair was what was on the way for you, so we had to get it turned around. On the positive side of things, we are tracking to be on time with our initial shipment. For the hassle with the shipping mix up, I had them bump your order up in the production schedule to a spot left by a customer who canceled their order due to spending cutbacks, so that you would get yours a bit faster. I know everyone is excited to receive their orders, and I am making sure that all the Home Inspector Pro users are getting their orders taken care of as quickly as possible. |
