I would like to see a method to mark a section DONE. In some HIP versions, it greys out but not consistent.

I would also like to see the ability to add a default comment to make sure you don't forget to click a comment that is important to your reporting method. Ex.. in 3D, you can mark a comment to remind you to mark this before you can finish the report. i.e. a standard or something.

Hi Dom!!  My yearly request for an office data base type add on?.  I know about ISN, etc? But I don't need the 100 bells and whistles they offer. Just something simple to keep up with client data, agent data, $ amounts of inspections, merge with Quickbooks, maybe an email feature that could be set to auto send emails (really not a needed but it would be nice) and whatever you could see fit to come up with?.  Heck, I bet you could even sell it as an add on feature.  I could see it as a $200 value!

Anyway, just my annual request???..

Hey Scott! Unfortunately that's a 6 month of programming (just to start), appx $100,000 of programming time that we get 2-3 requests a year for, due to the majority of our users using ISN. As soon as we add in a few office features we'd have others asking for more and more to emulate ISN and we'd end up like some unnamed programs which split their focus and end up creating mediocre reporting software and mediocre office software due to splitting our time.

We have things with tons of requests that get moved up our list though(stay tuned for some cool new features) that will make reporting easier and even cooler to focus on.

We are looking at expanding the data stored in the Upload Report database though to make searching a bit easier and could add in price and a few other details.

Sorry Scott.  Since this is something I have wanted for a long time, it will always be at the bottom of the list.  The excuses range from "countless hours of programming" to "use ISN" to "where the heck are my cookies?"  It is Dom's way of tweeking me on a regular basis.  Wait until you start getting phone texts in the middle of the night that say, "Still not working on your database project".  Or things might escalate and he will send you a used rolodex and box of pencils. 

I think it has to do with Dom riding bikes over rough terrain and a hard seat.  Very callous, very callous indeed.
