Dom, how are you? Busy as ever I bet. Just wanted to stop in and check on some of these items. I can not wait for the day to have the "floating search bar" for HIP Mobile (iPad), search bar in HIP, and especially the ability to delete pics from the damage panels. Heck, what about doing the editing and captions from the damage panels...? The picture gallery would be used for the initial placement only and everything can else could be done from the damage panels. <right click> opens the picture with the editing features (plus the option to remove or move to a different section)
- search bar for HIP (narratives and/or captions) (for captions it would be, start typing in the block and the selection populates) - floating search bar for HIP Mobile - option to delete or remove pictures from the damage panels (instead of hunting through photo tabs) - double send option for husband/wife/investors |

What Travis said. Being able to edit pics from the damage panel would be awesome!

After playing with HIP for over two months here's my list
Highlight the command line tabs more. Even on my 22" monitor its hard to see where it is. AUTO SAVE - other programs have this. A timed save would be nice Draft Review - this used to be in HIP. At minimum can HIP remember the last location I saved the PDF to???? I typically draft print several times until I get it right. Its a pain to have to point to the destination each time instead of the hip client directory. If I am saving the HZF file it remembers. Be able to define a data location other than C:\Program Am I the only person that has a second drive or a network server that I store client files to? Please let me set that... I second the request on the hard and soft callouts for the summary. I have kluged it but would be nice if I didn't have to. Better editor for Edit documents Be able to define what variable data goes on the front page. I really don't want everyone to know my fee or the home size on the cover Better documentation on selection panels and damage panels - examples on what to use when etc. Ditto on item separator and description text in comments. As a newbie it took a while. Fix the bug with the realtor field when you bring client info over Fix the time it takes to save a client file. It seems like it doesn't matter if I am writing to a SSD, usb stick or a 7200rpm drive. Seems like its over a minute to write a 125K file. //Rick |

Good feedback!
Unfortunately that's as fast as HIP can save, there's a ton of processing to save and zip the files. It should only take 15-30 seconds though. What realtor bug? Inspection Fee doesn't appear on the cover page. Can you explain more what you mean about hard and soft callouts for the summary? What command line tabs are you referring to? |

PDF file/page insertion into a report. I have longed for the opportunity to add pdf pages into the report without using the merge function outside of the HIP reporting system.? I have? pre made radon test report, mold report, septic report in pdf and would like to fill in the blanks and include it as pages in the reports.? Right now, I enter all of the information on? blank forms, send it to paperport and then e mail it to the client as an attachment to the e mail.? Cumbersom at best.?
I also want to be able to insert supporting? documents to the client like code information sheets that are in pdf format. This feature would make my? life easier and reduce my completion time and make for a complete, all in one report Dominic, its time to do this. |
