TOPIC: Web site Theme statistics

I have spoke with Dominic, and he believes that this type of discussion has not yet been done.
So I would like to have anyone who wishes to discuss this topic to chime in.

What Web-site Themes are most commonly used the most and some statistics on why you believe that
the Theme you choose will hold clients attention more over any other.
I understand content is a big part, but besides that, what is more pleasing Theme, ones with bold colors
vrs the standard white background, colored text or the standard black text and why you think that holds
the client on your site.

I have built many sites, and I have never tracked any of that info. I can tell you I have gotten many compliments on my own sites, if that helps.

But I don't get complaints about the content. I get clients asking why is it so Dark. So I asked Dominic the question you see above. Is it that I am the only one that has asked what works best.
White, Little Color or Bold Color. I am finding out White is the Best answer, but I would like to try
Theme 4, but as you said, you changed the color and added a few pages the last time. Somehow I need to figure out how to change the themes without screwing up, so I can do again later if I need to.

I think you should go with your gut. if the clients are asking why it is so dark, then switch themes.

I am working on getting enough "Guts" to tackle changing the theme. Dominic and Dan make it sound so easy, but
its not for the non Geeks. I will get it changed one day. Torn between the all white background and the light brown background.

Just try it and see what happens, it is easier than you think. You will have to redo the header,but most stuff will transfer or just need a minor adjustment.
