TOPIC: Formatting report to go in binder

For a binder, I would recommend NOT punching holes in the report itself.  Get some sheet protectors and put the pages in there.  Too easy to lose a page or 12 w/ 3 hole punches.  JMO

True. I just read James comment, I missed it earlier. I guess I'll need to go out and but a 3 hole puncher the guys who do insert directly and add a margin feature!

WHY 3 hole punch? You can buy 3 hole punch paper either at a Staples type store or I buy from a paper supply store by the case. When buying by the case, I pay about the same ammount as buying a 500 piece pack.

I think its a good idea.  You could design it so we could turn it on or off. 

Index and the ability to turn off is a great idea.

If anybody thinks an index would make our reports look more professional and easier for the person looking at the report to find the information faster, please post your opinion here for Dom can see the response or we can set up a poll if Dom thinks it would be bettwer.
I believe an index, in the front right after the cover, is essential especially when dealing with commercial clients because this is what they are use to seeing when reading most any kind of report.

Forget the three hole punch guys, just by the paper pre punched at Staples. Dom, it would be nice if the margin could be set in HIP. I currently use a printer work around but it is awkward.

When you print a PDF you can set the margins. This should be all you need.

Ok I know that it has been a while for this thread but I was wondering if any thing came of the index? May be we are backwards here but we like to give people an inspection onsite and printing on 3 hole paper is a solution for that. Where in the print options can I set it up for printing on 3 hole paper?
