TOPIC: Two New Templates

Re: Two New Templates 15 years 3 months ago #19402

John, I wanted to look at your template, do I have to down load it into HIP to do so. It won't open otherwise.
Thanks

Also, I have been trying to add documents in one of the default templates that I am modifying, and confused from the tutorial.
Enter file;  I want to add something prior to roof, drop down menu has Comm. Sop Roof and it's own version.

What do I type in this Enter file?

Thanks in advance.

Marcel you can just look on top of your HIP and see edit Documents at top.(just to the right of edit templat :Pe)
Click on that and then click add new document where it will ask for a title.

You may paste text or type in the box provided , but no graphics as of yet unless you know the tricks.:)

Yes you have to save the file in the Data Folder of HIP.  Then you can open HIP then open the template.

As for your other question, I don't remember how to do all that.  I'll have to go back and look at the tutorial.

Hi. Bob.

I did that and typed in Roof, then add document and a big page opened up, copied from Documents, pasted then it asked where to file it. Then I lost it.

Can this be done to a default template when I am not doing a report?

That is what I am trying to do, get ready for next time.

Why wasn't I born a computer guru like Dom. ?? ;D

I have looked at that tutorial many times and still confused with that sample document for a file entry.
I am trying to put a document ahead of the roof section. Once I can do that, then I can do the same to all other sections.

This is all coming from my own hand made template I have been using up till now. All done on word. Took me four months to put it together.  :)
