TOPIC: Home Warranty

I think it's a great sales tool to separate you from other inspectors. Now guys like Jay who have done over 10,000 inspections have a huge referral base but the newer inspectors don't. I've heard from a few other guys that use Mountain Warranty as well, and like Robert it's been a big selling point.

How new/old are these programs?  I have come up against it exactly

There are many ways to increase sales, increase fees, provide added value to your service, bring peace of mind to your client, etc.  Many ways, many ideas.  Offering an inspection warranty to your client is just another way.  My inspectors who use my warranty understand that the perceived value of the warranty is many times greater than actual cost of the warranty.  When the value far outweighs the cost, it's a no-brainer.  For videos on how to use the warranty to make more money - I made a 10 minute video - www.mountainwarranty.com .  Or just give me a call, I'll talk to you about anything you need to be successful in this profession.  PS.  I've been a home inspector since 1995.  I designed the 100-day inspection warranty with one thing in mind...  Call or email me, and I'll tell you what that is.  By the way...
