Hello, everone.
Attached picture is water heater that I recently inspected. The water heater releif pipe is terminated to under crawl space. Do I have to need somthing comment for that? |

Kyu, in the few crawlspaces that I see, this has been a common set up. I wouldn't make a huge deal of it, as it is not a continuos drain. They will have the issue of not knowing if the valve becomes corroded and starts to push open , however. In this case, moisture will be distributed into the crawlspace. They will have to monitor this closely. It is a pain in the butt, but not much will be done to correct it. Just make them aware, that they need to monitor it, and your job is complete.

Nice picture Tim. Terminating it above and then having it drain looks like a much better solution as you can see when it's discharging.
