Does HIP have the ability to see and print your entire formset map in a PDF or equivalent. 3D has this feature so you can easily print the formsets and mark up for revisions, examine, etc.

I would go in to settings and Program setting/options and under Items option Check the box Print items even if no items are selected

No, I mean for me to print my entire inspection selections on paper so i can review before doing an inspection. This can allow me to review my verbiage, what im saying, make revisions/deletions,etc, so I can move things around in HIP. Its like taking a new template and reviewing on paper.

Hi Greg,
This would be about 300 pages on our default template as there's thousands of narratives in there! |

Greg...I am very familiar with 3D. Printing form sets can become cumbersome. The more you use your HIP template in the field; modify & fine tune it as you do inspections.
Your template should follow the same flow as the actual inspection. Build a template that works for you, or start with Dominic's. After you perform an inspection, take notes on what would work better. Spend a day modifying just EXTERIOR. Progress through your entire template. |

The approach I took was to build a template to way I thought would work best, then do some inspections and if I made a lot of changes, I would save that template and use it for future inspections. Once I got to a point where I wasn't making many changes I kept that template as a master template. Then inspected with a copy of that template. I would they make some notes about what I liked or did not like. Open HIP twice on desktop and copy and paste between the 2 templates. After about a dozen inspections you will be about 90% where you want to be with your template. Always save your latest copy back the master. I never inspect with my master copy in the field. Also, you will never have a perfect template. I still sit down about once a week and adjust something, but this will get you a lot closer. Printing out a hard copy and writing is way to slow. Go Digital!
