Mike, why aren't you inspecting with your master template? That's one of the huge benefits and time savers in HIP!

Dominic took my words. Let your Master Temp evolve as you inspect. You develop other temps from ur master for multi-flats or duplexes; however, I even use my Master for some of those inspection because it has the largest database of comments

My master is a back up. Think of my template I use as a beta version. After a few inspections, if I still like it. Then the template I was using becomes the new master. That way if anything happens I always have the last good template ready to go. Master is more of just a name "I" use. The great thing about HIP is the ability to carry multiple templates and change on the fly. I use a Samsung Galaxy 2 camera and load it up with all my templates and am always ready to go no matter what comes in whenever it comes in. Inspections take 2-4 hrs to complete, never miss a system or area of the house by just following the template and reports are 98% complete by the time I leave inspection.
