TOPIC: Ratings

Looking at introducing the "Ratings" feature into my report. A selection from the "Ratings" list will be used about 50% of time during inspections. Currently I cannot find an option to stop the "Ratings" boxes being printed in the report where I have no need to select any of the Rating options. Is this possible, or do Ratings have to show up even if not selected.
As in all "Sections" within the Report - if you do not select anything nothing prints (option), is this option available for the "Ratings" list.

Ratings will always show for consistency if you're using damage panels and have ratings on as damage panels were meant for observations. Selection panels (materials, location, etc) do not show ratings. That might be what you're looking for.

I'm using the Ratings feature so I can tick a box indication to clients approximates times when repairs may need to be carried.
Unfortunately the Ratings box shows up in areas of the report where this type of repair feature is not needed. Ticking N/A in these cases takes time. If the Ratings box did not print in these cases the report would look better.

Ah, that wasn't really the original intent of the ratings but it's something we can look at for the future.

How difficult is it to include an addition option in the "Ratings Options" to not print the ratings boxes if no item is selected. This code is already common in the HIP settings.

PS, I don't know what the percentages are, but from looking at the sample report's more than half the inspectors seem to use the "Ratings Option".

In addition to this, the small number of sample reports that I have just looked at, inspectors regularly click on the N/A option as the ratings have no bearing on that particular section (resulting in the Inspector click N/A).

By adding the option as mentioned, this could save inspectors 1000's of clicks a day and make the reports look more professional. Having the ratings box in the report with N/A ticked is superfluous to the report.
