TOPIC: Wind Mit android program.

We've been experimenting with the Wind Mitigation program on Android Note phones and are pretty impressed with its easability to move around the form and quickly fill the form out.  It's pretty cool having the pics merge in so well.  Our only question at this time is :  can we change to a different style of bullet for the "check boxes"??  We foresee the style and size of the bullet will generate alot of questions from the agents interpreting the form.

I'm talking about the actual check mark your putting in the boxes that have to be checked.  You currently have a small slash going from one corner of the box to the other.  Other programs that use Microsoft Office have a choice of Checks (bullets).  ie:  X , or an actual check mark or all the bullets offered in Office.

It's actually a checkmark but the boxes are so small (those are the exact size of the state form) you can barely see the bottom of the check. We've had guys using the app for 2 years now and it's never been an issue! If you do come across it being a problem let us know and we can look into making some other options. I guess we could just make it a solid space or something.

Are you sure guys are really using the form? Because a recent thread on Nachi did not give any referance to this program except you mentioning the picture issue was resolved.  I suspect this plus the unusual process of having to retrieve the inspection from an email before you can review and tweek the report is driving guys back to their old Office fillable forms or another program developed by a Florida inspector. I would increase the size of the square or at least allow the box to be an X.  Just my opinion.  Also , if you can skip the email retrieval process this would be the Go To program.

Yup, there's hundreds of reports being uploaded to our servers a day.

The PDF is generated on the server as the phones are too slow to handle this. So one click gets you the file. You don't have to go to your email, you can go direct to our website.

I'll look into using an X instead.
