I'm getting the same issue. I have a Mac desktop with the latest version of HIP too. This seems to be an issue since the update, as I don't recall any mobile uploaded inspections since I upgraded.

We've replicated the issue and I've fixed it. Just tidying up a Mac update right now.

Hey guys, getting a similar error when I try to open an inspection from the cloud.
It gets to 50% downloaded and says Unknown Error: An error occurred. Make sure your username and password are entered under Internet ->HIP Login information and make sure you're connected to the Internet. Then it tells me that inspection is saved locally, but the status bar is stuck at 50% on the download status bar. I am logged in (logged out and back in) and with correct credentials. I am using HIP 3.6.6 and Andriod HIP Mobile. Of course this report is my last mock, for some real estate agents I'm hoping to work with. Doh! Regards, Bob Mavretich Terminus Home Inspections |

Robert, you need to update to HIP 3.8 first, you're using an old version.
Then make sure you only upload via wifi, not a cell connection as they're very unreliable and will cause the problem you have. Kill the app, then delete the file from the cloud (on your desktop). Then upload the file again via wifi on your mobile device. Avoid cell connections as much as possible. |
