What is the best (fastest) way to copy multiple comments from a text document into either a selection panel or a damage panel? Do I have to copy them one at a time from the text document and then paste them into a "Enter comment text" box? My "use case" is that I would like to have another family member who can type faster than me, type all my comments into a text document and then I'll copy/paste to HIP. I know that I can copy multiple comments between templates and sections of HIP, but that isn't what I'm doing here. Thank you.

You could only do at once at a time as there's no format in Word. Why not have the family member type directly into HIP? They just keep clicking the "Add Another Comment" button after each one to keep the add box open.

The family member is using Notepad (or similar text editor, not MS Word) on a Windows PC that doesn't have HIP installed. So does that make it any easier? I'm guessing it has something to do with HIP looking for an end of line character in a file? I am simultaneously using HIP on my Mac laptop. Trying to get my template built quickly by having both of us do some typing.

I recommend installing HIP on their machine and let them add directly. That would make it the easiest. They don't need a license if they're just helping you out.

OK, I'll give that a try. Should I copy my license file to the Windows computer or do I just run in evaluation or trial mode? Then I presume that I put a copy of the template that I'm working with on the Windows computer and have my son enter comments into the damage panels that I created. Once my son has entered everything, how do I combine the template file on his Windows computer with the template file on my Macbook? Do the template files have to have different filenames? I think I've read about a "merge" function on this forum, but have not used it. Thank you for any more tips.

You can just run it in trial mode. You would just copy his template over from the Data folder on one computer to the other.
