TOPIC: Can I copy multiple comments from text doc into damage/selection panel

I think this would be a great feature to incorporate into HIP.  It would make creating new templates that have some overlap very easy.  If you could copy a list of narratives and import at one time.  For example, if you have a residential template and a commercial template.  There are going to be some commercial properties that have asphalt shingled roofs.  You could just copy all the shingle comments from your residential template into your commercial.  Done....I like the idea Phillip!  Like adding bulk phots...Bulk Narratives

You can already do that Chris. Open two copies of HIP side by side and copy away.  Or you can even import the other sections and move them around via File->Import/Merge Inspection.

That is quite laborious, and I have done that myself with my templates.  However, if one could copy a list of narratives and paste it right in the section where they were needed.  I see that what you say is true, it's just time consuming.  Just reading this thread I could relate to the issue.  The MERGE component is a sweet element and something I only picked up a few months ago.  I was totally unaware of the feature and could kick myself.  As I understand it, it is meant to merge 2 reports from the same template, correct?  Versus 2 different templates.  From your standpoint it seems like it would just be another USP for HIP.  Especially those migrating from another software. 

No, it can merge from separate templates OR the same template!

If you're only copy/paste you can click CTRL-A to select all comments in a section and then copy/paste.
