Re: Putting the new mobile version through its paces 11 years 1 month ago #54963

Mobile HIP not showing 2 lines of comments but will show 1 and 3.

That's odd, when I try to make it show only one line, I get an alert window which pops up and says "Please enter a valid number of Lines between 2-5".

BTW, my original post was incorrect about one item, I should clarify it:
"The option to set the number of lines showing for comments does not save after you close the program."

While it doesn't save the number in the box/line where you type your selection, the setting does remain from report to report. It hasn't reverted back to any other number other than the one I select. So this isn't an issue at all.

Okay, This may not be a new issue because I have suspected it was happening but I never followed up to check. Also it was user error a couple times.

My Bathrooms Section is the last pages of my report and so I wait to fill in the Selection panels for Toilets, Sinks, Tubs, Showers, etc. until the end of the inspection after all the bathrooms have been inspected. I do the interior last. My Selection panels in this section have the general overall condition of the bathrooms, e.g Repairs Needed, Recommend Monitoring, Acceptable, etc.

What is happening is that when I download the report to my desktop, all the selection panels in that bathroom section are blank. I have actually forgotten to select them periodically so I wasn't sure if it was my mistake. Today I have a file on my iPad Mini with them all selected and the downloaded file with them all blank, so I know it is a glich of some sort.

I have considered deleting and rebuilding the Bathrooms section to see if there is just a defective part of the template present. Any thoughts?

Hmm, that is odd. Try just making a copy of the bathroom section of the template, then delete the old. Upload that to the cloud and see if you have the same issue. Definitely let me know. I love reproducible issues as they're much easier to fix!
