Dom - Wash you mouth out. I wouldn't touch an Apple product with a 10 foot pole. LOL. Apple is too "walled garden" for me. Not into being controlled that much about what program I can or cannot use. Hate using iTunes as the only access to downloads and updates. They have nice equipment but are just too controlling for my taste. I'll stick to PCs and Android. At least I have the option of hacking those if I want.

Unfortunately Apple stock is practically breaking records.
Competition is always good for consumers however. |

I'll take the stability and superior AppStore over any other device any day. I'm also counting the days until I can shoot my Window laptop with my propane powered potato cannon and switch to a MacBook.

Apple does not have a superior app store and the negative is they charge you for everything.
Android is a more free market society. Apple equals "control", so enjoy that world if you want a Nanny. Apple is made to make computers easy for the basic thinkers but sniffles outsiders. My take is that it is great for music and art but not so much for business Want the best ,but not at the cost of being controlled any more than I can avoid and do not feel I should ever have a need to know about the i tunes sore.. |

You have no idea what you are talking about.
Yes android has more free apps(about 70% of their apps), but what are the majority of them? Widgets and task killers. Not to mention the reason those apps are free is because they are full of ads. Whoopee. And on average iPhone apps do cost more... About $1.00. What a deterrent to sales that has been. The apple store has more apps by about 100,000-150,000 or more at any given time and it has way more developers because, wait for it Bobby, a "free market society" doesn't earn developers any money. Besides, we all know what all these euphemisms about "openness" and "free market" really mean. Adult content. Naughty, naughty Bobby. And as for this nonsense about not being controlled by some corporate giant? Get the scales off the eyes and meet your android maker, Google. You're just suckling a different teat on a similar giant. How's the milk?! LOL |
