TOPIC: 0/3/2011 ???

I have to say something about this. I realize that sometimes things will not work correctly with the program or the websites and it is frustrating. But there is absolutely no reason to be rude when you have a complaint to make. You guys get a lot from HIP for the price you pay, both with the report program and the web hosting, not to mention the FREE tech support. Dom or someone on his staff is available basically about 20 hours a day to help you and the response from them is 2nd to none, I have not received such stellar service from anyone ever. And you guys think you have the right to act this way!!??

I get tired of seeing posts where someone screams when there is an issue and it solves nothing.

Mike, I appreciate the comment (seriously, that's really nice!) but I do understand Dave's frustration with this and it's my fault. I've continually bandaged this problem as I have been trying to get out new features rather than spend the huge amount of time it's going to take to replace the date components throughout HIP and the upload service. I kept hoping that I'd worked around the problem from the date component, but it really is just wrong. It should be something simple but whomever created it didn't have their head on straight.

I have a few things left to finish up for 3.0 then I'll rework dates. I do have it so none of the 0/x/xx will appear. But it looks like it's still not consistent on some months, on the last day of the month.

Yep, you have that right. Now that I have seen how you responded to my post, I guess you are always like this. I can tell you this, you will not receive anymore help from me when you post an issue, and I know I have helped you before. Good luck Dave and God bless you.

Dom, it may be your fault, I won't argue that or that Dave and others may feel very frustrated, although I think Dave may always be like this as his post indicates. I am just saying there is a way to make a complaint. I do not see the need to be so caustic. He could have done it better and gotten better results.

I have been dealing with a lot of pain and it makes me cranky and act like an ***.

I am just curious if any HIP users did a report today 5/31/11 and reopened with the 6/1/2011 date.
Just informing to check the dates on months with 31 days or 28 days.
