Date code messed up again, when reopening a report for 1/30/2011 the date 2/2 2011 appears.
If I end up sending out a report with the wronmg date I am going to be upset, this erroness date code calender needs to find the garbage. |

Dominic, I'm getting the same DATE ERROR as Dave!
Save a report with date: 1/29/2011, when I reopen, I get 2/1/2011 with date: 1/30/2011, I get 2/2/2011 with date: 1/31/2011, I get 2/3/2011 All other dates appear to be OK, for now. Thought we had this issue solved!? SERGE |

Hmm, I posted here yesterday, it must have timed out without me noticing. Here's what I sent to Dave yesterday:
I just saw the post and I'm extremely sorry (and upset). The date component comes from a common group of code used to plug into programs, not something that I personally wrote. I've integrated that component into so many pieces of the software and the server end that it's going to be a huge pain to rewrite it but I obviously have no choice now. I thought my workaround worked as I'd tested it for the next few Decembers and a few other dates. It's definitely going to take some work and I had some other great features I was ready to finish up but I'll have to focus on that now. After looking at it this morning the problem has to do with the calendar component not calculating leap year correctly (hence it starting on the 29th and ending on the 31st which Feb doesn't have). So the problem will basically be here until Monday then be gone. It will take me a few days to get this squared away so please double check dates until Monday. I'm going to work on this today but I'm also going to be finishing up the new features that most of you have been waiting for and I'm excited to get out. |

As usual the unreliable date calendar does work right with March 31, It defaults to April 1 after reopening.
This is about the 4th time I have brought up this issue. It can be easy to overlook the date. This is a liability waiting to happen. GET RID OF YOUR DATE CALENDAR IT SUCKS!! |
