TOPIC: New 10" CTL 2go Tablet

requested a 10 inch 2go screen protector, who knows maybe they will start carrying them. George

Anybody get any shipment notification emails yet?

The last email I received was from Matt stating they would be in port last Friday or this Monday and then they would be shipped after they checked/tested all the computers. I figure I would see mine either late this week or early next.

As I long as I get one that works, in one piece(not damaged), I do not mind waiting a few more days.

I have had mine for a few weeks and have been taking it VERRRRRRY SLOOOOOOOW!

I have not used it in the field yet, but that is more about me than the new toy.

So far, I really like the handwriting software, I think that I have average at best handwriting,

but the software is exceeding my expectations.

I also bought (separately) Dragon voice recognition software. I just started playing around with that and it is working really well.

Both programs are supposed to get better with use so I am looking forward to sometime in the near future doing a complete home inspection in about 7 minutes!

The only very small complaint I have is that my stylus gets stuck in its storage slot (no jokes about throwing cold water on it!). I'm sure that after some use that issue will go away.

I look forward to field testing soon and will post about it then.

I've had the smaller version for about 10 months. I really has cut the 'admin' part of the inspection down. No more late nights doing 'paperwork.' You will develop a ritual using it in the field. I had to do without it last week...and my head almost exploded . Can't wait to get the larger version...just waiting for the magic email from Matt.
