Ok, here's my idea or maybe I should call it a formatting change.  I would really love it if headings and photos under those headings were forced to stay on the same page.  I'm finding that many times the photos jump to the next page and they are there all alone at the top of the page with no indication which section they are under. I know this would possibly increase the empty space on the page prior, but I'm not afraid of the white space.  Even if this were just a formatting option it would be nice.  It's just my personal taste, but I think it looks better when everything related is on the same page.

So that's my idea. Keep it or kill it, just be gentle.

I tried this on my last inspection: I opened the previous inspection that I reported and deleted what I didn't want and that left the comments that I want to keep in by default. Then I just did my report as normal. Now when I deleted I waited until I got to each section, it made it easier. It works and the template is always updated, but i still want to have default comments that are always there unless I remove them.

3 pictures across
font/color/size control of client name and address on all pages

3 pictures across the section page and the comments below? I think that would reduce the size of the images. What I like about HIP is that the images are bigger than other software reporting programs. I have seen homegauge and their images are small, I want the client to see what I am reporting and see any text I add to the image. I think it is more important that the images are larger.

I think you can fix that by choosing the option of having the sections get their own page. Report Settings --> Options --> uncheck the box next to "print report pages continuously. Do not give each section it's own page."
