TOPIC: Page and Header size

In theme 26, how come the site width, in my FF browser on my screen, is 1600 pixels wide (not set to fixed width) but the upload size limit for images is only 800 pixels wide? How do I design and upload a single image to replace the header on my site?

That's just us trying to teach good practices. It used to be more than half of consumers had 800x600 screens. Now you can target up to 1024. Don't make your image larger than that or people will get cropped screens and have to scroll a lot. Go ahead and try it now as I've adjusted your max upload size.

Thanks Dominic. Works fine, and I think looks a bit better. Also glad to see Google still sees the page title, even though graphically, company name is now part of an image and invisible to the spiders. I'm probably not done fiddling with it.

It's pulling the page title from the Site Name & Slogan listed under Site Information. We set it up that way on purpose!
