TOPIC: My pictures want act right!!!

My pictures want act right!!! 13 years 6 months ago #41583

I'm freakin going insane >:( >:(. I've been resizing, moving, swapping, everything you can imagine for the last 2 hours simply trying to get a few images to line up correctly. I had them all correctly placed for the last 2 weeks but they want go back!! All I need to do is get 2 images to go side by side. They refuse to do so. I'll drag an image to drop it beside an image and it swaps place with the image vs placing it beside the image. I can line all my images up in the center in one column or on the left in one column but I can't do side by side even when I make them tiny.

I've tried removing the formatting, reloading/refreshing, etc..

Could somebody PLEASE take a look at my site and tell me what I'm missing? I'm desperately trying to get the images on my homepage to go side by side(2 rows x 2 columns).

Ok, now I go back and there letting me place some of them side by side, FINALLY! I still don't get it.

What's been stopping me from placing them side by side for the last 2 hours? If I run into this problem again than I'd like to know what to do?

WOW! It just let me do everything I needed to do in less than 90 seconds. I wasted 2 hours trying to do a 90 second job. I've gotta figure out what was going on.

What causes images to default to the middle or default to the left no matter where you drop them?

Hi Brandon,

Were you inserting code for the image or were you inserting the image using the image uploader? Was the text above the images centered?

Putting images on a page can be greatly affected by other elements such as text. If you want 2 images size by side the best way is to insert a 2 column table (with no borders so it's not visible) and then add your images within the table. This helps things stay perfectly aligned.

Yikes ,been there and done that.
The size of the template also needs to known sometimes when adding blocks.
